Haugesund, Norway-based Seagarden ASA has acquired the comprehensive marine, savory ingredients operations of Rieber & Søn ASA, Bergen, Norway. Under the agreement, Seagarden will purchase product inventory, production equipment and technology and access to Rieber’s distribution channels for all marine savory ingredient product ranges. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
